Stewart Patterns is both an artist's studio and patternmaking shop offering a variety of services related to the foundry, memorial and design sectors.
Stewart Smith has had over 30 years experience as a sculptor and patternmaker. He has managed and executed a number of large scupltural projects for bronze, designed and created specialized tooling for the foundry industry, and collaborates with a number of artists, designers and trades in Canada and the US.
Most of the sculpture and design work has been done in collaboration with an architect or other client,. so while the name "Stewart Patterns" or "Stewart Smith" may appear on the finished work, there is usually a team created for that project.
Recently, Stewart has returned to his roots, and is creating his own work again.
