Stewart Patterns is both an artist's studio and patternmaking shop offering a variety of services related to the foundry, memorial and design sectors.
Stewart Smith has had 32 years experience as a sculptor and 26 as a patternmaker. He has managed and executed a number of large scupltural projects for bronze, designed and created specialized tooling for the foundry industry, and collaborates with a number of artists, designers and trades in Canada and the US.
Our industrial work is proprietary composite tooling.
Most of the sculpture and design work has been done in collaboration with an architect or other client,. so while the name "Stewart Patterns" or "Stewart Smith" may appear on the finished work, there is usually a team involved, created for that project.
